Anika Elden
The main character of Chaos and Capybaras, Anika is summoned to the planet of Etalen and given a capybara companion to help her save the world. She has Water and Light magic affinities.
Lily the Capybara
Lily the Capybara is Anika’s magical, talking companion. She was given to Anika by the goddess Water and blessed by the god Aether to help Anika on her adventure.
Chaos and Capybaras Universe
Magic
In the Chaos and Capybaras universe, everyone has a Primary and a Secondary magic affinity.
Primary affinities include: Aether, Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. Secondary affinities include: Essence, Time, Shadow, Space, and Light
Secondary affinities include: Essence, Time, Shadow, Space, and Light.
Everyone gains the ability to manipulate their element and create their element from nothing. Additionally, people can cast spells that have special effects and combine primary and secondary magic into unique combinations.
The Cosmic System
Everyone person on Etalen - and around the universe - has access to a system that allows them to see their levels, spells, and abilities as well as track their progress. But the people of the world aren't the only ones with access to the system - the Gods of each world use and administer the system and tailor it to their worlds needs. In some cases, the Gods of a world may block the system entirely!
On Etalen, people can view their status, spells, and abilities anywhere on the planet. But inside a Dungeon, where the Chaos magic of the world is strongest, they gain access to additional features, such as Maps and location marking, that make their adventures easier.
The World of Etalen
Chaos and Capybaras takes place in the world of Etalen, where five races, created by the five primary gods, live in harmony. Etalen is a world of magic and adventure, where the people of the planet must venture into Dungeons to keep the dangerous Chaos magic at bay.
